Drew Barrymore has given birth to a daughter named Olive, her first child with husband Will Kopelman, the actress said in a statement on Monday.

"We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born September 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives," Barrymore said.

Oscar-winning actress Reese Witherspoon gave birth to a baby boy on Thursday, her first child with husband Jim Toth, and has named him Tennessee James, her representative said. Witherspoon has two older children - daughter Ava, 12, and son Deacon, 9 - with first husband Ryan Phillippe..

South Korean singer Psy jumped to the top of the British pop charts, on Sunday with the quirky dance track "Gangnam Style", an Internet phenomenon that has clocked up more than 300 million views on YouTube. The 34-year-old became the first Korean artist to top the weekly UK chart, helped by the success of a video shot in locations around Gangnam, an upmarket neighborhood in the South Korean capital, Seoul. Psy, whose real name is Park Jai-sang, spawned hundreds of online imitators with his unusual dance move, where he pretends to ride an invisible horse. It topped the U.S. digital songs chart earlier this week.

Outspoken comedian Seth MacFarlane, creator of "Family Guy", will host the Oscars ceremony in February in a choice seen aimed at attracting younger viewers to the movie industry's biggest night. The Academy of Motion Pictures Arts and Sciences, which produces the Oscars, announced the selection on Monday of first-time host MacFarlane, known for his no-holds-barred humor and cultural satire on "Family Guy".
Oscars telecast producers Craig Zadan and Neil Meron said in a statement they picked MacFarlane, 38, because "his performing skills blend perfectly with our ideas for making the show entertaining and fresh," calling him the "consummate host".

Bow Wow has been ordered to pay child support for his 1-year-old daughter, but we've learned he withheld critical financial information from the judge.
Bow Wow and baby mama Joie Chavis were in court Monday, fighting over exactly how much Bow Wow is worth and how much he has to pay.  After some haggling, Bow Wow voluntarily agreed to shell out $3,000 a month in support for baby Shai.
After the court hearing was concluded, Bow Wow was officially named host of BET's long-running and influential hip hop show, "106 & Park." Bow Wow made no mention of this in court.The judge will have some tough questions for Bow Wow in December, when the court rules on a permanent child support order.

Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez will join the payroll of "X Factor" -- TMZ has learned, Khloe and Mario will be the new co-hosts of the show.
We're told the final, tiny finishing touches are being put on their deals, but the announcement will be made some time this week.
We're told the duo's salaries will add millions on top of an already enormous talent budget ... with Britney Spears in the lead at $15 mil. Khloe and Mario will debut in November.
