I was recently going through my cable network television and I could not find TBN Trinity Broadcasting Network instead I see Faith Africa. That truly got me worried as I wondered if TBN had gone "caput" off air.
After an internet search, I was so excited to read on the DSTV website that TBN had not been replaced, rather the network had rebranded in their own words, "This name change and branding strategy is a direct result of the Board's
innovative approach to keep Christian television fresh and relevant in
today's society".
This move does make a lot of sense considering the limited exposure of the youth to the bible doctrines, not many might understand the meaning of the word Trinity and how the "Trinity" is a reflection of the divine nature of God. Faith on the other hand is something that every one identifies with, as it travails the core of man's existence, the desire for relevance, a higher purpose for man's existence here on earth other than just evolution.
The word Faith cuts across every denomination as it is the backbone of every religion be it Faith in; Oneself, Science or a Supreme being. The Faith Broadcasting Network professes Faith in the one true God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. The one who is more than able to do what he says he will do. To him be all the glory now and forever more. Amen.
