Eating Healthy

Your Food intake/menu affects your lifestyle, practice eating healthy-the right way.

Maintain the prosperity of the soul. Be at peace with God, give your life to Christ and if you are born again, stay away from sin.

TIPS TO EATING HEALTHY

1. Go easy on added Sugar.

2. Develop a taste for Grains.

3. Eat Fibers regularly.

  • Fibers aid food digestion to the barest calories value, it also helps remove toxins from the bowel. 
  • Fibers are found in Whole grains, Vegetables and Fruits.

4. Consistently take in Fruits and Vegetables.


5. More Good fat and avoid Bad fat.

  • Good Fat is commonly in Plants like Groundnut and Palm oil. 
  • Bad fat is found in animal fat like Meat. Cholesterol in meat destroys blood vessels which damages the heart. 
  • Fat from Fish and Chicken is quite fair preferably boiled and not fried. 
  • Eggs should be eaten minimally.

6.Don't indulge in Carbonated drinks or sodas, especially while eating.

7. Eat a lot of Whole grains like Corn, Millet, Wheat, Sorghum e.t.c

8. Eat regularly, but not too much at once.

  • Often eating three times a day may be over eating, eat only when you are hungry.
  • Eat to satisfaction and not to belly full, only fools eat to full.
  • Eat slowly, the food won't run away and chew properly. This aids the digestive process.

9. Choose supplements carefully, always seek medical advice.

10.Tale plenty of water, even when not feeling thirsty.

  • Three glasses of water in the morning help bowel movement.
