FRUSTRATION

I was watching a movie this afternoon and a particular scene struck me so i thought i should share it with you guys.

SCENE ONE:  Action
Francis locates his friend Iyke at his workshop, and after the close of work he follows him home. Francis and Iyke, walk into the parlor and encounter a housemate of Iyke, Akpada sitting in the parlor, Iyke makes a quick introduction and Francis naturally takes over the conversation.
Francis: Good evening Akpada?
Akpada: Are u mad? You dey crazy? Abi they no get sense for your village? You no dey fear face?
Francis: Am sorry, but… but…..?
Akpada: But what? You no get sense for your village? You no look my face? My face resemble the face wey get good evening? You want make I wozz you? Abi you dey mad? You no fit differentiate between the face wey show good evening and the face wey get bad evening?
You saw a young man locked up in this god forsaken hell hole, living from hand to mouth, with no hope of eating for the next 24hrs, and all you could say is good evening, what is good about the evening?

Staggering isn't it? The truth is some of us will never get to feel, what that young man was going through and times like this, we just need to count our blessings and really be grateful to God. On the other hand, if life really deals us a rough hand, your true strength lies in your resilience, refuse to quit, extract yourself from any tricky situation (if you can't please abeg throw way pride and confide in someone that can help you) and take the necessary steps towards achieving your goals. And always remember life is not a test of speed but a journey occasioned with mountain peaks and valley lows bringing us to an expected end.
What is your expected end?
