You may no direct control over events that affect the world but you can influence what happens in your world.
Romans 12:2
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.Do not let the social, cultural and economic factors of this world influence you. Rather renew your mind and let Gods word be the main factor that rocks your world.
